We will, together with Kjetil and Asbjørn Villa (Lemonsjøen Development) and all of you who contribute - Reopen the ski center for everyone!

Lemonsjøen Ski Center

We are at a crossroads. Our ski center, the heart and lifeblood of the village, is closed. But now we have an opportunity to act, together, to ensure that the lift can start up again already this year!

This is a rescue operation for the entire Lemon Lake – a chance to preserve our identity and create a brighter future for everyone.

We are incredibly proud to have Lemonsjøen Utvikling, with Kjetil and Asbjørn Villa, on the team. The Villa family has been responsible for the ski center for decades, and their continued commitment gives us a solid foundation for continued operation. In addition, the municipality of Vågå has taken action and shown that they see the value and importance of the facility, which is incredibly encouraging for everyone in and around Lemonsjøen.

A ski resort is more than just a place to ski

It is a unique arena for socializing. It is where families can create shared memories, where children and young people can learn about active leisure and challenge themselves, and where the local community can meet. The ski center is a melting pot of activity and joy, and creates a sense of unity and belonging that is crucial to the well-being of the village. By reopening the ski center, we ensure a meeting place where generations can meet and share experiences – a place that builds bridges and strengthens the bonds between everyone who has a heart for Lemonsjøen.

The ski center is one of the most important contributors to economic activity throughout the valley.

It is not only an offer for ski enthusiasts, but a magnet for cabin owners and tourists who leave money in the local community. A closed lift means we risk losing this activity, which will be felt directly by the business community – from shops and restaurants to gas stations and rental companies. Now is the time for everyone to see the value of having a vibrant ski center. By contributing, you not only show your commitment, but send a clear signal that we must stand together.

A new, sustainable model

We will not only reopen, but also find a robust and sustainable model that ensures long-term operation and further development of the entire Lemonsjøen as a destination. It is about building a strong, safe community that creates activity and value for many years to come. A good range of activities is crucial for both children, young people and adults – it creates a desire to live and ensures that Lemonsjøen continues to be an attractive place to be. Your contribution is an investment in precisely this.

Help us preserve the heart of Lemon Lake. Your contribution can make a big difference so that we can once again create joy and memories for young and old. Let's get the elevator going – together!
