The ski center gives 40% off 3-7 day passes and 30% off day passes and 2-day passes. SKIFOLKEOPPLYSNING: 5-day pass and season pass - a joint venture between the municipality and the alpine center.

We get a lot of questions about the scheme with 5 free day passes for school children in Vågå and the possibility of discounts on season passes. We hope this is clarifying:

SPLEISELAG: The scheme with 5 free day passes and ski rental, free ski instruction and bus every weekday during the winter holidays for schoolchildren living in Vågå is a joint venture between Vågå municipality and Lemonsjøen Alpinsenter where both parties contribute strongly: The municipality financially for lift passes and buses and Lemonsjøen with heavily discounted day passes, ski rental and ski instruction.

PURPOSE: The purpose of Spleiselaget is to give children and young people in Vågå who otherwise do not have the equipment or family finances to go alpine skiing the opportunity to participate in an activity that many children and families in Vågå greatly appreciate.

DISCOUNT: Children and families who ski so much that they want to buy a season pass received a 15% discount when buying an annual pass before December 15.

EXCHANGE TO SEASON PASS: If some children who have been skiing with a free lift pass for five days decide that they still want to buy a season pass this winter, they will receive a discount of NOK 700 on the recommended price of the season pass. The discount is approximately the municipality's financial contribution to the free 5-day passes.

The reason why the discount on the season pass price is not greater is that the agreement between the municipality and the alpine center also goes to cover the costs of ski rental, ski instruction and bus - and that the alpine center itself contributes to the 5 free day passes with a large discount. We are pleased that the sparing team contributes to so many people skiing at Lemonsjøen and ask for understanding that the alpine center also contributes a lot to make the offer as good as it is for those who need it to experience the joy of skiing in Vågå.
